Panda House History Panda House Chinese Restaurants have been part of a continuous Nebraska tradition for over two decades. In 1981, Johnnie Wu (Head Chef & Founding President) and Family brought authentic Chinese cuisine to the city of Grand Island with Hunan Chinese Restaurant. Soon after in 1982 he expanded to the capitol Lincoln with House of Hunan Chinese Restaurant and in 1983 metro Omaha with House of Hunan Chinese Restaurant. The latter was sold and in the fall of 1991, Johnnie brought back to Omaha his renowned food & service with the PANDA HOUSE. Conveniently located in two locations, one Downtown & one West Center, the Panda House Chinese Restaurant offers diners a unique authentic Chinese cuisine experience:
We invite you and your family to join us for good food & drink. Be a part of a Nebraska institution that has inspired & influenced all other Chinese restaurants. Thank you. West
